Abdominal distention
Swelling of the stomach was always present but generally was thought to be due to the bloated torso effect of the prednisone. I don’t know if there is any significance to this term other than general swelling. Her liver condition and other stomach organs were always considered to be normal by specialists who on occasion felt her stomach or performed biopsies.
